Analysis of modal parameter identification of long-span continuous rigid frame bridge based on health monitoring data and simulation technology

Abstract

Environmental incentives can directly utilize the natural environment to stimulate structures, and have become a very challenging research topic in the field of engineering structural system identification. This article mainly studies the identification method of modal parameters of bridge structures based on strain health monitoring data. Firstly, based on the basic theory of modal analysis, the strain admittance function is derived; secondly, a strain mode data extraction method by using strain monitoring data acquired by the health monitoring system (HMS) was proposed, and the strain mode data of the background bridge was obtained with using this method; finally, combining the strain mode data and strain admittance function, the modal parameter values of the bridge were calculated and compared with the finite element simulation values, and the results show that the calculated values and the simulation values are in good agreement, indicating that the method proposed in this paper is feasible and expands the application scope of the bridge health monitoring system.
